We are looking for a motivated Assistant Facilities Engineer – M and E Maintenance Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support critical maintenance programs for mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, assist in managing security and fire safety protocols, and help oversee projects and contractors. Key Responsibilities

You will provide crucial support across various technical and administrative functions to ensure our facilities operate seamlessly.

  • Assist in the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs for mechanical and electrical installations, supporting a team of technicians and managing equipment/parts requisition.
  • Help implement and audit fire safety plans and security systems, investigate related incidents, and ensure compliance with the highest safety standards.
  • Support the tender process for service contracts and help oversee subcontractor performance to ensure work is completed on scope, on time, and to quality. Assist project managers with scheduling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify service needs and perform any ad-hoc duties as required to support the facilities management team.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundational skill set and the right attitude for development.

  • A diploma or degree in Mechanical-Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, contractors, and clients.
