Key Responsibilities
As a key link in our logistics chain, you will ensure the seamless delivery of parcels while upholding our high standards of service and safety.
- Safely operate a UPS delivery vehicle to deliver and pick up packages in residential areas across Quebec City.
- Provide exceptional, friendly customer service during every delivery interaction.
- Efficiently plan and navigate your daily route using provided map books and area knowledge to meet delivery windows.
- Carefully handle packages of all sizes, following proper lifting techniques for items up to 70 lbs.
- Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain a clean, professional appearance in accordance with UPS guidelines.
- Accurately capture delivery information and obtain necessary customer signatures using our handheld device.
Qualifications
We are looking for responsible, physically fit individuals who take pride in their work. Here’s what you’ll need:
- You must be at least 21 years of age (for insurance purposes).
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license (or higher) issued in the province of Quebec is mandatory.
- A clean Driver’s Abstract with no at-fault accidents in the last 3 years and no traffic violations in the last 12 months.
- The physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted and handle parcels of various sizes throughout your shift.
- Strong navigation skills and the ability to read a map book effectively.
- Excellent customer service attitude, reliability, and a strong focus on safety in all tasks.
- Flexibility with your schedule, as daily working hours may vary based on package volume.
