Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day work will directly contribute to our high standard of service, handling textiles from arrival to dispatch.
- Operate a range of commercial laundry machinery including industrial washers, dryers, and finishing equipment safely and in line with our standard procedures.
- Carefully sort and load soiled linens, selecting the correct cleaning agents and wash cycles to ensure optimal results for different fabric types.
- Monitor the entire laundering process, making minor adjustments as needed to guarantee textiles are washed, dried, and finished to our strict quality specifications.
- Perform detailed inspections of all clean items, identifying any stains or damage that require re-washing or repair before they are passed on to clients.
- Accurately assemble, pack, and log customer orders, preparing them for timely collection and delivery by our drivers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment throughout the laundry facility for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications

- While full training on our specific equipment and processes will be provided, basic experience with computers is essential for logging orders and managing data.
- A strong focus on accuracy and an excellent eye for detail are crucial for maintaining our quality standards.
- Good communication skills are required to work effectively as part of our team and to interact clearly with customers via phone and email when needed.
- You must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling bags of laundry in a fast-paced environment.
