Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service at the cash register and on the sales floor, helping pet parents find the right products for their pets’ needs.
- Receive, unload, and safely stock deliveries of pet food and supplies, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Keep the sales floor tidy, organized, and welcoming by restocking shelves, facing products, and performing light cleaning duties.
- Assist with store operations like preparing merchandise orders and completing banking paperwork.
- Learn about our wide range of products, brands, and pet care best practices to become a true Pet Expert.
- Help support our community initiatives, such as donation drives or in-store adoption events.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring to the Pack:
- A genuine passion for pets and animal welfare.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role is a plus.
- A friendly, outgoing personality and strong communication skills.
- The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic, with the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- A reliable way to get to and from our Bowmanville location.
- A willingness to learn and use our point-of-sale (POS) system.
