[Key Responsibilities

In these critical shutdown roles, you will be responsible for executing high-quality maintenance and installation work. Your duties will involve:

  • Performing trade-specific tasks (fabrication, fitting, or rigging) on fixed plant equipment during planned major shutdowns.
  • Strictly adhering to all site-specific and company safety procedures, with an unwavering commitment to Zero Harm.
  • Working collaboratively within a skilled team to complete project scopes efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Demonstrating high reliability and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced, time-critical shutdown environment.
  • Being available for necessary training and onboarding prior to the 2026 shutdown periods to ensure site readiness.

Qualifications

To be considered for these roles, you must meet the following criteria:

  • An Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (for Boilermaker, Fitter, or Rigger roles).
  • A current Driver’s Licence.
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a coal mining environment (CHPP experience is highly regarded).
  • The ability to obtain and hold the following mandatory tickets: Coal Board Medical, Standard 11, Working at Heights, Confined Space, and Gas Testing Atmosphere.
  • A High-Risk Work Licence for Forklift and/or Elevated Work Platform is desirable.
  • A strong, demonstrated focus on safety and reliability.
