Key Responsibilities
In this active role, you will be the backbone of our daily logistics, ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of our facility. Your primary duties will include:
- Safely and accurately picking, assembling, and preparing customer orders for timely dispatch.
- Unloading incoming supplier trucks and meticulously placing inventory in its correct warehouse location.
- Providing excellent customer service by efficiently and carefully loading orders onto customer vehicles.
- Processing receiving documents and packing slips without delay to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Receiving, inspecting, and restocking any returned inventory.
- Contributing to a safe workplace by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
Qualifications
We are looking for a dependable team player with a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse or similar logistics setting.
- The physical capability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally handle items up to 85 lbs, with bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Must have your own steel-toed safety boots, as safety is our non-negotiable priority.
- A positive, customer-focused attitude and a keen attention to detail.
- Certification to operate a Counterbalance Forklift is a significant asset.
- Familiarity with general building materials and order-picking processes is preferred.
