Key Responsibilities
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will be called upon to provide essential support across various classroom settings. Your duties will include:
- Working under the direction of classroom teachers to support individual children and small groups across all subject areas.
- Supervising pupils during lunchtimes, breaks, and drop-off periods to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Assisting with the maintenance of a positive learning environment by encouraging good behaviour, self-discipline, and self-esteem among students.
- Recording observations on children’s behaviour and progress as directed.
- Assisting with off-site school trips and residential visits, as required.
- Helping to maintain classroom resources and equipment.
- Promoting a positive image of the school within the community at all times.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this flexible role will possess:
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive, cooperative relationships with staff, students, and parents.
- Good computer literacy and technical skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High levels of professionalism, reliability, and adaptability.
- The legal right to work in Hong Kong.
- A willingness to undergo a Sexual Convictions Record Check (SCRC) through the Hong Kong Police Force.
