Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our driving team, you will be entrusted with the safe and professional transport of goods on designated cross-border routes. Your core responsibilities include:
- Safely operating a Class 1 vehicle on assigned routes throughout Canada and the United States.
- Conducting meticulous pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
- Maintaining accurate logs and documentation in accordance with all federal and provincial/state regulations.
- Providing professional, efficient service during customer interactions and deliveries.
- Upholding the company’s commitment to an excellent safety record and reliable service.
Qualifications
To steer your career with us, you will need:
- A valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean current driver’s abstract.
- Certification from a recognized driver training school.
- Verifiable professional driving experience; familiarity with refrigerated (reefer) units is a strong asset.
- The ability to pass a criminal background check and meet all requirements for cross-border travel into the USA.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a self-motivated work ethic, and flexibility with scheduling.
