Key Responsibilities
As a skilled operator within our packaging team, you will play a critical role in our daily production. Your key duties will include:
- Safely and efficiently operating bottling, filling, and packaging machinery in rotation, following strict Standard Operating Procedures.
- Performing meticulous cleaning, sterilisation, and changeovers between production runs to meet the highest food safety and quality standards.
- Conducting routine quality control checks and accurately recording production data.
- Assisting with the start-up and shut-down procedures for packaging lines at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Working collaboratively within the team to meet production targets and continuously improve processes.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area.
Qualifications
To be successful in this hands-on role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Filler Operator, Machine Operator, or in a similar role within the beverage, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- A strong understanding of production line operations, hygiene protocols, and quality control principles.
- Physical fitness and energy for a role that involves standing, lifting, and operating machinery.
- The ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a busy, close-knit team.
- Excellent attention to detail, reliable record-keeping skills, and a proactive attitude.
- Good communication skills and a positive, collaborative approach.
