Key Responsibilities
In this active role, you will be the engine of our logistics and material flow. Your core duties will ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently:
- Safely operate a stand-up forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the plant.
- Physically handle and “bookshelf” mattresses, foundations, and adjustable bases with care and precision.
- Accurately check incoming materials against purchase orders and log them into our computer system.
- Organize and stock raw materials and finished goods, maintaining an orderly and clean work area.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on your equipment to ensure a secure work environment for everyone.
- Work collaboratively in a team-lift environment to handle heavy products, ensuring safety and meeting customer demand.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable team player who brings a strong work ethic and a focus on safety. The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior experience and the ability to safely operate a stand-up forklift (willingness to pass an in-house driving test is required).
- The physical capability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift and lift heavy products, with team-lifting for loads up to 120 pounds.
- A basic ability to read and write English to follow work instructions, loading schedules, and communicate clearly with the team.
- Salary Ranges 17$ per hr depends on experience
- Experience using an RF scanner is a strong asset.
- A proven track record of working safely in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to multi-task and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
