Key Responsibilities

In this varied and creative support role, you will be essential to the smooth operation of our design studio and the customer experience. Your key duties will include:

  • Welcoming customers and stakeholders into our beautiful studio, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive, including preparing food and beverages in our MyChoice Café.
  • Collaborating closely with Interior Design Consultants by handling key administrative tasks to prepare for client appointments and supporting them during selections.
  • Assisting customers with the selection of external, internal, and electrical choices for their new home, helping to bring their vision to life.
  • Managing studio inventory levels, ordering essential items, and ensuring the space is always well-stocked and presented impeccably.
  • Supporting the hosting of special events such as Customer Information Evenings and Expo Days.

Qualifications

We are looking for a team-oriented individual with a foundational passion for design. You will bring:

  •  Currently studying or having completed a Diploma of Interior Decoration and Design or a similar qualification.
  •  A strong commitment to providing excellence in customer service, outstanding communication skills, and a genuine desire to work as ‘one team’.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, and strong abilities in record-keeping, planning, and organising.
  • A clear desire to build a long-term career in interior design within the residential building sector.
  • Availability: The ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work occasional weekends as required for events.
