Key Responsibilities
As a vital link in our supply chain, you will ensure the smooth flow of goods from our dock to our customers. Your key duties will include:
- Receiving and verifying incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and damage.
- Meticulously picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for safe, damage-free shipment.
- Maintaining an exceptionally tidy and safe warehouse by organizing stock in its proper location.
- Operating material handling equipment to load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Providing friendly and professional sales support at the counter, greeting customers and preparing their orders.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve warehouse productivity and safety.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and energetic team player who brings a positive attitude every day. The ideal candidate will have:
- A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet important deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- The physical capability to handle items under 50 lbs.
- Good PC skills, including familiarity with MS Office programs.
- A valid forklift certificate is a great asset, but we are committed to training the right person.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are most important.
