Key Responsibilities

As a Dozer Push Operator within the Mine Services Department, you will play a crucial role in the efficiency of the mining operation. Your primary focus will be:

  • Safely and efficiently operating a D10 or D11 Dozer for push operations, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production targets.
  • Working a structured 7 days on, 7 days off roster with 12.5-hour shifts, contributing to the continuous workflow of the mine.
  • Following all site safety protocols and procedures meticulously to maintain an incident-free work environment.
  • Collaborating effectively with the mining team and supervisors to ensure seamless operations across the site.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:

  • A minimum of 12 months of verified mining experience specifically operating D10 or D11 Dozers.
  • A current, valid Standard 11 induction and a Coal Board Medical.
  • A current, open driver’s licence.
  • A signed skills list or competency evidence as required by site Safety Standards (Signed by SSE).
  • A strong safety mindset, reliability, and the ability to work effectively within a large-scale mining team.
