Key Responsibilities
In this support role, you will assist our skilled supervisors and technicians with a variety of essential tasks. Your daily duties will include:
- Providing direct assistance to the Workshop Supervisor with the repair and maintenance of prime movers and trucks.
- Performing welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication work on vehicle components, such as pipes and cabin guards.
- Handling surface finishing tasks to prepare parts for painting or further assembly.
- Using basic mechanical knowledge to support more complex repair jobs, including disassembly and reassembly of parts.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workshop area, ensuring all tools are used and stored correctly.
- Completing other workshop-related duties as assigned to support the overall workflow.
Qualifications
We are urgently looking for a candidate who meets these key requirements:
- Possession of a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License is a mandatory requirement for this role.
- A responsible, hardworking attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Practical experience or a strong interest in welding, fitting, and fabrication work.
- Any basic mechanical knowledge related to trucks or prime movers is a significant advantage.
- Holding a 3G or 4G Welding Certificate is a strong bonus point that will be highly regarded.
