Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Duties

  • Perform daily cleaning duties throughout the facility according to established routines and procedures, including patient rooms, common areas, bathrooms, staff offices, and administrative spaces.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces, floors, fixtures, and equipment using approved cleaning agents and infection control protocols.
  • Empty waste receptacles and dispose of garbage in accordance with health care waste management procedures.
  • Maintain cleaning carts, equipment, and supply closets in clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisory staff promptly.
  • Move furniture and equipment as needed to facilitate thorough cleaning.

Laundry And Linen Services

  • Collect, sort, process, wash, dry, fold, and distribute patient linens, personal clothing, and facility textiles according to established procedures.
  • Operate commercial washers, dryers, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Label resident clothing as required and maintain organized storage of personal items.
  • Inspect linens and garments for damage or excessive wear, setting aside items requiring repair or replacement.

General Responsibilities

  • Work independently during assigned shifts, managing time and tasks effectively without direct supervision.
  • Complete basic computer documentation as required for workload tracking, supply management, or incident reporting.

Qualifications

Education:
