You’ll be assigned a late-model Peterbilt 579 or Freightliner Cascadia, mostly automatics with some manuals available. Schedule and Home Time
- Home Time:Â Home weekly (unless the driver wants to stay out longer)
- Days Off:Â Vary based on trips that week; most drivers are home 2 full days, with a minimum 34-hour reset guaranteed
- Weekend Opportunity:Â Opportunity to be home weekends
- Average Length of Haul:Â 750 miles
- Average Weekly Miles: 2,500 – 3,000 miles
Key Responsibilities
As an OTR driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe and timely transport of freight across primary running areas.
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and professionally across the Southeast, Midwest, Arizona, and Utah.
- Handle primarily drop-and-hook freight (70%) with 100% no-touch loads.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
- Follow all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs and records using electronic logging devices (ELDs).

Compensation and Benefits
Pay Structure:
- Per Mile Rate:Â $0.50 per mile
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,250 – $1,450 per week
- Safety Bonus:Â $0.02 per mile paid monthly
Orientation:
- Duration:Â 2 days
- Pay:Â $130 per day (if driver lives within 30 miles of terminal: $90 per day, non-negotiable)
- Location:Â Driver must drive personal vehicle to Harrison, AR
- Lodging:Â Provided
- Meals:Â Breakfast at hotel, lunch provided during orientation

Qualifications and Experience
We have strict qualification requirements to ensure the safety and success of our drivers and operations.
Essential Requirements:
- MUST have a valid Class A CDL License
- Minimum Age: 21 (25 preferred)
- 2 years of tractor-trailer experience (must have experience pulling 48-53ft trailers)
- NO MORE THAN 1 MOVING VIOLATION IN THE PAST 3 YEARS
- No at-fault accidents in the past 12 months
- No accidents involving a fatality (EVER)
- No speeding tickets of 15mph or more in the past 3 years
- No convictions for reckless/careless driving in the last 3 years
- No major traffic violations in the last 2 years
- No more than 3 jobs in the past year
- No terminations for safety reasons
- No felonies in the past 10 years
- No convictions for sex crimes involving minors
- No misdemeanors in the past 5 years
- No failed drug or alcohol tests in a lifetime
- Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Please have a copy of your Physical Long Form available upon request
