Our fleet features 2022–2025 Freightliner Cascadias equipped with APUs, refrigerators, microwaves, power inverters, and bunk heaters because we believe comfortable drivers are successful drivers. With weekly earnings averaging $2,900 and a range of $1,800–$3,600, we pay top dollar for your hard work and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
As an OTR Flatbed Driver, you’ll be responsible for:
- Operating OTR routes across all 48 states, averaging 3,200 miles per week (range 2,500–3,900+).
- Securing flatbed freight safely and efficiently, using proper tarping techniques when required.
- Managing time effectively to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any equipment issues promptly.
- Working with a mix of drop-and-hook freight and live loads.
- Handling an average of 3–5 stops per load (some loads up to 15 stops).
- Staying in consistent contact with 24-7 dispatch for updates and support.
- Maintaining a strong work ethic and professionalism at all times.
Driver Requirements
We’re looking for experienced drivers who are ready to run and earn.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A license.
- Must operate as 1099 independent contractor.
- Willingness to run OTR in all 48 states.
- Ability to secure flatbed freight safely.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Meet all DOT requirements.
- Clean driving record and professional attitude.
New to Flatbed? No Problem.
We offer flatbed training for CDL-A drivers who are new to flatbed hauling. If you have your CDL and the desire to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.
Compensation
- Pay Rate:Â $0.75 CPM
- Weekly Average:Â $2,900
- Weekly Range: $1,800 – $3,600
- $50 per extra stop
- $25 for 4′ tarps
- $50 for 8′ tarps
- Payroll Cycle: Monday–Sunday
- Pay Day:Â Friday (paid within 5 days)
- Orientation:Â Travel expenses covered
Home Time Policy
- Standard Schedule:Â 3 weeks out = 1 week home
- Home Every Weekend Available for drivers living in:Â IL, WI, IN, OH, VA, NJ, PA
Equipment and Technology
- Trucks: 2022–2025 Freightliner Cascadia (automatic), governed at 71 MPH (pedal and cruise)
- Trailers: 48′ 53′ East and Wabash Flatbed Trailers (2022–2026)
- Amenities:Â All trucks equipped with APU, refrigerator, microwave, power inverter, and bunk heater
- Technology:Â Weigh Station Pre-Pass, 24-7-365 dispatch and breakdown support
