Key Responsibilities

  • Operate excavators, loaders, and bobcats safely and efficiently on construction sites.
  • Assist landscapers and hardscape workers with project setup and execution.
  • Work carefully around underground utilities, parks, and public areas.
  • Perform BC1 calls as required.
  • Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, organized, and productive worksite.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately.

Qualifications

  • Valid operating tickets for at least two types of machinery (e.g., skid steer, loader, or excavator).
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable access to a vehicle.
  • Proficiency in machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of labor work, grading, and spotting techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Experience in plant layout and construction is an advantage.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
