Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate computerized (CNC) and manual woodworking machines.
- Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.
- Operate gluing machines and presses to assemble wood components and apply veneers.
- Follow specifications or verbal instructions to ensure accurate production.
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery, replacing parts as necessary.
- Operate a variety of woodworking equipment, including drills, planers, routers, sanders, and saws.
- Ensure safety compliance in a noisy, dusty, and physically demanding work environment.
- Maintain attention to detail and quality standards in all tasks.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience operating woodworking machinery.
- Experience with CNC machines and other woodworking tools.
- Ability to handle heavy loads and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks.
- Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in hot, dusty, or noisy conditions.
- Steel-toed safety boots required.
