We’re looking for a versatile Welder Fitter to join our small, friendly team. This isn’t your typical welding job one day you might be working on tanker pipework, the next you could be fitting pumps, working on off-road tankers, or even helping restore an old Marmon truck, a rat rod, or a race car. If you’re mechanically inclined, handy on the tools, and you’ve got 3-5 years of welding and fitting experience, this could be the right fit. What You’ll Be Doing

Working on tanker pipework and fitting pumps: You’ll handle a variety of jobs involving piping, pumps, and tanker components.
Fitting off-road tankers: You’ll be involved in assembling and fitting out tankers for off-road use.
Restoration projects: From old Marmon trucks to rat rods and race cars, there’s always something interesting to work on.
Using your mechanical skills: If you’re handy on the tools and understand how things work, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to put that knowledge to use.
Bringing your own ideas: There’s room to be innovative here we value people who think for themselves and suggest better ways of doing things.
Working standard hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, five days a week. Early start, early finish.

What We’re Looking For

3-5 years of welding and fitting experience this is essential.
A mechanically inclined person who’s genuinely handy on the tools.
Interest in big trucks and cars if you’re into restoration projects or racing, you’ll love the work we do.
Versatility: We need someone who can switch between different types of work without missing a beat.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a happy workplace.
Own tools relevant to the role you’ll need to bring your own gear.
Visa holders considered age is no barrier here.

What You’ll Get

Hourly rate between $40 and $55 depending on your experience and skill level.
Standard hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday. No weird shifts, just consistent work.
All correct benefits and taxes paid, including superannuation.
