Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations and Inventory
- Perform day-to-day inbound and outbound warehouse activities efficiently and accurately.
- Manage inventory to ensure transactions are accurately reflected in the system with zero tolerance for shortcuts.
- Handle receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to manage stock movement.
- Maintain high standards for housekeeping, safety, and operational discipline on the floor.
Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise temporary staff in the absence of the Operations Manager.
- Support warehouse re-layout projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain operational discipline and ensure team members follow procedures.
- Take ownership of operations and work independently to achieve goals.
Administration
- Properly file and maintain documents, including Invoices, Delivery Orders (DO), Packing Lists, and Permits.
- Update and maintain records using the warehouse management system.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and accessible.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse operations experience with exposure to inventory management required.
- Reach truck hands-on operating experience essential.
- PC proficiency including Email, MS Office, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in managing people, including temporary staff.
- Comfortable working flexible shifts, including early mornings (05:00hrs) and evenings (21:00hrs).
- Able to work independently and take ownership of operations.
- Enjoy building structure and maintaining operational discipline.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality essential.
Working Hours and Shifts:
- Shift A: 05:00hrs to 14:00hrs (Early morning taxi fare is claimable).
- Shift B: 12:00hrs to 21:00hrs.
- Off Days: Fixed as either Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday.
