Key Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions accurately, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
- Update and maintain the general ledger to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Reconcile accounts to verify consistency between financial records and bank statements
- Prepare monthly reconciliations, data entries, and financial statements for review
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
- Monitor and track expenses, ensuring proper categorization and documentation
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
- Support the finance team in audits, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a comparable financial role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in ERP software (such as SAP or Oracle) and strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and consistency in financial records
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle discrepancies effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with clients and team members
