Key Responsibilities

  • Read work orders, production drawings, and routings to execute assembly tasks accurately
  • Perform soldering duties, including pre-wave assembly, through-hole, and surface-mount techniques
  • Prepare and connect component leads using lead-forming tools and wiring procedures
  • Conduct online visual inspections to maintain quality standards and process controls
  • Identify and handle various electronic components and packages correctly
  • Perform rework, touch-up, and testing of PCB assemblies as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following all safety and quality protocols
  • Communicate quality issues promptly to supervisors or team leads
  • Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and the maintenance of assembly equipment

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in SMT inspection and electronic component identification
  • Proficiency in mechanical assembly, pre-wave, through-hole, and surface-mount soldering
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to work full-time in a production and clean room environment
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and willing to learn and train on new techniques
