Key Responsibilities
- Read work orders, production drawings, and routings to execute assembly tasks accurately
- Perform soldering duties, including pre-wave assembly, through-hole, and surface-mount techniques
- Prepare and connect component leads using lead-forming tools and wiring procedures
- Conduct online visual inspections to maintain quality standards and process controls
- Identify and handle various electronic components and packages correctly
- Perform rework, touch-up, and testing of PCB assemblies as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following all safety and quality protocols
- Communicate quality issues promptly to supervisors or team leads
- Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and the maintenance of assembly equipment
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in SMT inspection and electronic component identification
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly, pre-wave, through-hole, and surface-mount soldering
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic computer and math skills
- Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work full-time in a production and clean room environment
- Team-oriented, reliable, and willing to learn and train on new techniques
