Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our chip sealing crew, you’ll be involved in critical infrastructure projects. Your role will be hands-on and essential, including:
- Operating as part of a coordinated team to efficiently lay chip seal on road surfaces.
- Safely operating and assisting with various plant machinery and equipment associated with road sealing.
- Performing general labouring duties on site, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard of quality and safety.
- Actively participating in pre-start meetings and adhering to all site health and safety protocols.
- Maintaining a clean and organised worksite and looking out for the safety of your teammates.
Qualifications
We are building a team we can count on. The right attitude is just as important as experience. We are looking for people who:
- Hold a minimum Class 2 full driver’s licence with WTR endorsements, or are committed to obtaining them.
- Have a clean and valid driver’s licence.
- Are physically fit, reliable, and bring a positive, can-do attitude to work every day.
- Are proactive about safety, both for themselves and their workmates.
- Are effective communicators and thrive in a team environment.
- Are eager to learn and build a long-term career with a local industry leader.
While previous chip sealing experience is a advantage, it is not essential. We provide comprehensive training for the right candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic.
