Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the entire hotel including guest rooms, public spaces, and back of house areas to ensure a consistently high standard of presentation.
- Deliver guest requests promptly and professionally ensuring every interaction contributes to a positive and memorable guest experience.
- Stock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies and ensure all equipment is maintained and ready for use throughout the shift.
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and ensuring all amenities are replenished.
- Clean public spaces including lobbies, corridors, elevators, and restrooms ensuring these areas reflect the hotel’s commitment to quality.
- Move about the property standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods while performing hands on tasks that require physical activity.
- Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed to complete housekeeping duties.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality, uphold quality standards, and ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional at all times.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a strong attention to detail and a genuine desire to create exceptional experiences for guests. Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a related service industry is valued but not required as training will be provided. Physical fitness is essential as the role involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout the shift. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays as required in the hospitality industry. A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are important qualities. Language skills in Mandarin and basic English are preferred for effective communication with guests and team members.
