Key Responsibilities
- Perform attentive cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and amenities to ensure a spotless and hygienic environment.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively, following infection control protocols.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by ensuring all areas are tidy, fresh, and well presented.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Work respectfully and discreetly around residents, understanding the importance of a calm and dignified environment.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with the care team to support the overall well being of residents.
Qualifications
A genuine desire to contribute to the well being of older people is essential. Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, hospitality, or healthcare setting is valued, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are equally important. Candidates must be reliable, self motivated, and able to work independently. Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting, is required. A compassionate, respectful approach and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members are key. Availability to work Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm is required.
