 Key Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Electrician, you’ll gain comprehensive experience through hands-on learning:

• Assist journeymen and foremen with installing conduit, electrical boxes, and rough wiring in various construction settings.
• Learn to interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment specifications for proper electrical installations.
• Participate in all project phases from concrete work and slab preparation to finishing and fixture installation.
• Develop troubleshooting skills while maintaining compliance with Canadian Electrical Codes and safety standards.
• Handle physically demanding tasks including lifting, drilling, and working from heights while following all safety protocols.
• Adapt to different job site requirements across residential, commercial, and high-rise projects throughout the Lower Mainland.

Qualifications

We’re looking for apprentices who bring the right foundation and attitude:

• Electrical Trade Schooling completed (Pre-Apprentice program or Level 1-8 schooling).
• Physical capability to handle demanding tasks and consistently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understanding of electrical codes and strong troubleshooting mindset.
• Willingness to learn and ask questions when guidance is needed.
• Reliable transportation to access job sites across the Lower Mainland and North Shore.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
