Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our field team, you will be entrusted with the full lifecycle of electrical systems, from installation to complex troubleshooting.

• Expertly install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, VFDs, and PLC-controlled refrigeration units.
• Accurately read and interpret electrical schematics, engineered drawings, and specifications to guide installations and repairs.
• Provide leadership and hands-on training to apprentices and other electricians, fostering a culture of safety and skill development.
• Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with the Ontario Electrical Code and company safety protocols.
• Manage the installation of various raceway systems, including GRC, EMT, and Cable Tray.
• Proactively identify and solve problems with control systems related to flow, pressure, temperature, and level.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified professional with a proven track record in industrial electrical work.

• A valid 309A Electrical License (Journeyperson Electrician) is mandatory.
• Proven experience and strong troubleshooting skills with industrial control systems, VFDs, and PLCs.
• A valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial components such as transformers, LVMCC, and HVMCC.
• Technical capacity with exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• The physical ability to perform manual tasks, including climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crawling, with specific vision capabilities for the job.
