Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day work will be crucial to our operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing daily collection of general waste and recyclables from assigned residential and commercial premises according to a set route schedule.
- Safely operating the mechanical lifting equipment on our collection vehicles.
- Assisting the driver with navigation and safety during collection rounds, especially in tight spaces.
- Maintaining a clean and functional vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Strictly following all workplace safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are physically fit and have a strong sense of responsibility. The requirements are:
- A willingness to work hard in an outdoor environment, rain or shine.
- The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy bins and walking for extended periods.
- A commitment to a 6-day work week with rotating rest days, which may include weekends and public holidays.
- Basic English communication skills.
- A responsible attitude towards safety, public hygiene, and environmental regulations.
