Key Responsibilities
As the face of our company at clients’ homes, you’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining our high standards. Your core duties will include:
- Performing weekly valet services for a dedicated route of client pools, including cleaning, skimming, and vacuuming.
- Accurately testing pool water chemistry and carefully balancing chemicals to ensure perfect water quality and safety.
- Learning to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain pool filtration systems, heaters, and automatic dosing equipment.
- Completing detailed daily logs and service reports with accuracy, ensuring clear communication with our office and clients.
- Providing friendly, professional, and respectful service during all client interactions, building trust and long-term relationships.
- Taking responsibility for the company vehicle and equipment, ensuring they are kept clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Qualifications
While we provide full training, the right personal fit is most important to us. The successful candidate will be:
- A person of genuine integrity, reliability, and self-motivation, happy to work independently after training.
- Physically fit with good stamina, capable of handling physical work in all types of weather.
- Possessed of a mature attitude, with strong personal presentation and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to keeping clear, accurate written records.
- The holder of a full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence.
- Legally eligible to work in New Zealand (holding NZ residency or a valid work visa).
- Able to pass a police background check.
- Previous experience in pool maintenance, landscaping, or a similar hands-on service role is beneficial but not essential.
