We are seeking a team of elite Vestas-Authorised Technicians for a landmark offshore wind project in Taiwan. This is a senior role for professionals who have proven their competency on the V164-V174 platform and operate at the highest standard of technical and safety excellence. You will be responsible for complex installation, commissioning, and service activities, setting the benchmark for quality and safety on this critical project.

Key Responsibilities
As a senior technician, you will take full ownership of complex tasks and mentor junior crew. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the execution of all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance, fault-finding, and repair protocols on the Vestas V164-V174 offshore wind turbine platform.
- Acting as an Authorised Technician under the Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR), formally issuing safety documents and implementing the Safe System of Work.
- Serving as a technical lead during major component replacements, commissioning activities, and complex troubleshooting scenarios.
- Operating and performing pre-use inspections on Avanti service lifts and other complex access equipment within the nacelle and hub.
- Conducting and, where qualified, leading advanced rescue operations from confined spaces and heights in the offshore environment.
- Ensuring all work is documented to the highest standard in Vestas’ systems and providing clear technical handovers.
Qualifications
Non-negotiable requirements for this senior position:
- Demonstrable, recent, and verifiable Authorised Technician status on the Vestas V164 and or V174 offshore platform. This must be evidenced by a valid Vestas logbook or employer confirmation.
- Current and valid certification in all required Vestas modules, including MMI and Practical, Technical Training, and Operational Safety.
- Global Wind Organisation (GWO) Certification: A full, valid suite including:
- GWO Basic Safety Training (BST)
- GWO Enhanced First Aid (EFA)
- GWO Advanced Rescue Training
- Safety Systems and Equipment: Certification in the Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) and formal Avanti Lift User (or equivalent) training.
- A valid OGUK or RUK Medical Certificate, including successful completion of the Chester Step Test.
