Key Responsibilities
As a Production Operator, you will be a crucial part of our around-the-clock baking operations. Your core duties will include:
- Safely setting up, operating, and monitoring bakery production and wrapping machinery to meet daily output targets.
- Accurately weighing and measuring ingredients, following specific recipes and procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
- Manually handling food products and materials with care, including frequent lifting of items up to 25kg and stacking products overhead as required.
- Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness in your work area, following all food safety protocols.
- Accurately completing production documentation, such as waste logs and quality checks.
- Working effectively as part of a team in a warm manufacturing environment to ensure a smooth production flow.
Qualifications
To thrive in this fast-paced production role, you will need:
- A good level of physical fitness, with the ability to frequently lift up to 25kg and handle items overhead throughout your shift.
- Comfort working in a warm manufacturing environment.
- Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude towards learning new skills.
- The ability to follow instructions precisely and work effectively as part of a team.
- Some experience in a food manufacturing, bakery, or similar fast-paced production environment is preferred.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential for our 24-7 operation.
