Key Responsibilities
This is a physically active role where you will be trained in specific processes. Your core duties will be vital to our daily operations and include:
- Salting and preparing animal skins according to established procedures to ensure proper preservation and quality.
- Performing manual labour tasks, including the safe lifting and moving of products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic work area at all times.
- Following all workplace health, safety, and hygiene protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for yourself and the team.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required to support the smooth running of operations.
Qualifications
To be successful in this active role, you will need:
- Excellent physical fitness and the strength to safely perform manual handling tasks, with a maximum lifting requirement of up to 15kg.
- A reliable, hardworking attitude and the ability to follow instructions carefully, both as part of a team and when working independently.
- Full flexibility in your scheduling to meet the varying demands of this casual position.
- Eligibility to work in Australia, holding any valid work visa that permits employment.
- An immediate start date is essential for this role.
- While previous labouring or warehouse experience is advantageous, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
