Key Responsibilities
In this supervisory role, you will be responsible for the hands-on management and coordination of all site activities within your assigned section. Your key duties will include:
- Assisting the Site Supervisor in controlling the overall progress and execution of works, ensuring adherence to project schedules, methods, and specifications.
- Managing and coordinating sub-contractor activities on-site to ensure seamless integration and quality of work.
- Overseeing inspection and testing procedures, and maintaining rigorous quality control standards throughout the construction process.
- Enforcing all site safety regulations and environmental policies, promoting a culture of zero incidents.
- Resolving on-site technical and coordination issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a solid foundation in construction and supervisory potential. Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- A craft certificate in construction from a recognized technical institute; OR
- Completion of a full apprenticeship or approved practical training course in construction, plus at least 2 years’ post-training experience; OR
- At least 5 years’ direct experience in construction work.
- Must possess proficiency in Chinese and English languages equivalent to Primary 6 standard.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered for the position of Senior Foreman.
