Key Responsibilities
As an Engineering Technician, you will be integral to our technical operations, supporting engineers and ensuring our equipment runs effectively. Your primary duties will include:
- Assisting in setting up, maintaining, and transporting benches, testers, and other technical equipment under supervision.
- Performing basic measurements and tests following standard operating procedures (SOPs), documenting results, and maintaining accurate malfunction records.
- Conducting fundamental troubleshooting and performing basic repairs, rework, and adjustments on equipment in collaboration with team members.
- Helping to configure test equipment using hand tools or automated methods to execute routine tests on circuits, components, and assemblies.
- Running both manual and automated test plans to reproduce and help debug routine technical issues.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a solid technical foundation and a proactive learning attitude. The ideal candidate will possess:
- An Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field OR a High School diploma with 1+ year of relevant Engineering Technician work experience.
- 1+ year of experience in the Semiconductor or a closely related industry is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft applications.
- The ability to frequently handle and transport equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail, good verbal/written communication skills, and the ability to follow manuals and procedures precisely.
- Military experience or training in electronics (Rank E3+) is considered a valuable asset.
