Key Responsibilities
In this active production role, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing process. Your key duties will include:
- Performing various manual tasks across different stages of furniture production and assembly.
- Safely handling, moving, and lifting wooden components and finished products, as the role involves regular heavy lifting.
- Operating basic tools and machinery after comprehensive training.
- Assisting skilled woodworkers and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times.
- Following all production guidelines and quality standards with care.
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable team members with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform heavy lifting as required daily.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Must live in Ontario, Canada, and be able to reliably commute or relocate to Durham, ON.
- Previous experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or a similar manual role is an asset but is not required.
