Key Responsibilities
As a Sewing Operator, you will be trained to perform key tasks that ensure our products meet strict quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sewing and assembling fabric air ducts according to precise technical specifications and drawings.
- Performing alterations and adjustments to components as needed during the assembly process.
- Inspecting your own finished work to ensure it meets all industrial quality and safety requirements.
- Completing product delivery tasks efficiently, ensuring orders are prepared correctly and on time.
- Strictly following all workplace safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Carrying out any additional reasonable duties as assigned by your supervisor to support team goals.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a good attitude and a willingness to develop new skills. The requirements are:
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualification.
- Good sewing technique is preferred, but not mandatory—training will be provided.
- Ability to learn to operate industrial sewing equipment safely and effectively.
- Must be coachable, hardworking, and possess a strong willingness to learn.
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a responsible work ethic.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates and supervisors.
- Prior experience as a seamstress or sewing operator is an advantage but is not a requirement.
