Key Responsibilities
As a CNC Operator, you will be entrusted with critical tasks that directly impact production quality and efficiency. Your core duties will include:
- Setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines (including turning, milling, and lathe operations) to produce precision components from technical drawings.
- Performing regular machine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, and using this understanding to program CNC machines for accurate cutting, shaping, and finishing.
- Conducting thorough quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify they meet exact specifications.
- Maintaining, cleaning, and preparing tools to ensure they are always in optimal condition for production.
- Troubleshooting operational issues, making timely adjustments, and resolving problems to maintain a smooth production flow.
- Adhering strictly to all workplace safety regulations and quality control procedures.
Qualifications
We are looking for qualified technicians with a proven track record. The ideal candidate will possess:
- 2 to 8 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, with specific experience in CNC turning, milling, and lathe operations.
- The ability to read blueprints and a strong understanding of materials and their machining properties.
- Knowledge of CNC programming is essential for this role.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong focus on quality control.
- Familiarity with manufacturing safety procedures and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- A minimum educational qualification of a 12th Pass (or equivalent).
