Key Responsibilities

Your diligence will ensure our facility operates at the highest standard of cleanliness. Here are the core duties you will perform:

Perform thorough cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, offices, hallways, and clinical equipment following established protocols.
Conduct terminal cleaning of patient rooms after discharge to prepare them for new occupants, adhering to specific infection control guidelines.
Operate and maintain mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, and industrial vacuums to care for various floor surfaces.
Clean and sanitize all bathroom fixtures, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls.
Collect, transport, and properly dispose of trash, soiled linens, and medical waste.
Dust furniture, woodwork, and high-touch surfaces; clean windows and door frames, using ladders as needed.
Set up, break down, and store furniture for special events and meetings.
Assist with hanging and removing drapes, curtains, and room dividers.
Actively participate in required educational programs, in-service training, and department meetings to stay current on best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
Previous experience in environmental services, custodial work, or a similar field is a plus, but we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for the right candidate.
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a dedication to following specific cleaning and safety procedures.
The physical capability to perform essential job duties, including standing for long periods, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting moderate weights.

A Day in the Life Abilities:

Comfortable using step ladders and operating standard floor care equipment.
Able to understand and communicate effectively in English to follow instructions and ensure safety.
