Your Strategic Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will be the operational lead for our logistics ecosystem. Your key duties will include:
- Supervising the end-to-end daily logistics operation, ensuring seamless execution of replenishment shipments between Distribution Centres, cross-docking, and last-mile delivery to customers.
- Developing, maintaining, and governing all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance.
- Optimizing warehouse layout, fulfillment workflows, and inventory management practices for maximum efficiency.
- Managing and nurturing relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, couriers, and warehousing providers, setting clear expectations and monitoring performance against KPIs.
- Ensuring all warehouse operations comply with local regulations and internal P&G policies, upholding the highest standards in product handling and storage.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and support strategic projects.
- Leading daily and weekly operational meetings with your team and service providers to address urgent issues and maintain service excellence.
- Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on monthly-quarterly logistics KPIs to management, driving actions to achieve targets.
- Governing financial compliance, ensuring accurate service billing from 3PL partners and supervising timely payments based on agreed standards.
The Expertise You Bring
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Required Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in the logistics industry, with a strong background in managing logistics vendors. Experience in the FMCG sector is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.
- Must be proficient in MS Office and SAP (WMS) systems.
- Full professional proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Willingness and ability to undertake frequent day-trip travel between Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Preferred Knowledge:
- An understanding of Greater Bay Area Free Trade Zone operations is a significant advantage.
