About the Role
This position is with a company specializing in automation solutions, where precision and teamwork are paramount. Key Responsibilities
Your work will be varied, involving both workshop-based tasks and occasional field assignments. Your core duties will include:
- Handling, measuring, and preparing raw materials in the workshop according to project specifications.
- Performing precision cutting, drilling, and tapping operations on materials.
- Assembling components and sub-assemblies accurately as per engineering drawings.
- Participating in the assembly, testing, and integration of automation equipment.
- Assisting with the installation and commissioning of equipment at client sites when required.
- Performing general workshop duties and tasks as instructed by supervisors.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Skills and Attributes
We are looking for a candidate who combines practical skill with a strong work ethic. The ideal applicant will have:
- Practical knowledge and experience in turning and milling operations.
- The ability to read and understand simple engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
