Core Responsibilities
As the expert operator on site, your precision will be critical. Your key duties will include:
- Operating and monitoring Deep Cement Mixing (DCM) equipment to achieve proper soil-cement slurry mixing for ground improvement, adhering strictly to design parameters.
- Accurately operating Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) installation machinery to specified depths and layouts to accelerate soil consolidation.
- Operating piling machinery to install foundation piles precisely according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Performing pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
- Adjusting machine operations in real-time to maintain the highest standards of quality, uniformity, and efficiency.
- Maintaining meticulous daily logs of production output, installation progress, material usage, and equipment performance.
- Collaborating closely with site engineers, supervisors, and surveyors to align operations with project timelines and design requirements.
- Enforcing and adhering to all site-specific safety, quality control, and environmental protection protocols without exception.
Qualifications
This role requires specific certifications and demonstrable experience. The successful candidate must possess:
- A valid BCA DCM/Piling SEC(K) certification.
- A solid track record of hands-on operation of DCM, PVD, and or piling machinery on live construction sites.
- Practical understanding of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and ground improvement processes.
- The ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings, layouts, and project specifications.
- Skills in performing basic equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Uncompromising attention to detail, a commitment to precision, and an ingrained safety-first mindset.
- The capability to work in demanding outdoor site conditions for extended periods.
