Key Responsibilities

You will be an essential part of our production process, handling fruit from preparation to packing. Your key duties will include:

• Preparing fresh fruit by washing, coring, slicing, and traying it for the freeze-drying process.
• Carefully loading trays into and unloading finished product from the industrial freeze-dryers.
• Weighing, packing, and labeling the final freeze-dried fruit products according to strict customer specifications.
• Performing general factory duties, including thorough cleaning and sanitization of equipment and work areas.
• Following all food safety, quality assurance, and workplace health and safety procedures meticulously.
• Working cooperatively as part of our small, hands-on production team to ensure efficiency and meet daily targets.

Qualifications

We value reliability and a positive attitude above all. The ideal candidate will be:

• Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong, hardworking ethic.
• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive tasks, including standing for periods and safely lifting up to 15kg.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions carefully and maintain a strong focus on safety and hygiene.
• A team player who is willing to learn new skills and processes in a food manufacturing setting.
• In possession of reliable transport, as our facility is located in Red Hill.
• Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or a similar practical role is beneficial but not essential we provide full training for the right people.
