Key Responsibilities
You will be the technical authority on-site, responsible for the seamless operation of our facilities. Your primary duties will include:
- Directly supervising the inspection, maintenance, and repair of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Services (FS), and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Managing contractors, suppliers, and vendors for repair, maintenance, and construction projects, ensuring all work complies with company policies and local regulations.
- Developing and executing preventive maintenance schedules, maintaining comprehensive service records, and preparing detailed reports.
- Planning and overseeing alteration/modification projects, including capital improvements and asset replacements, from scope definition through to completion.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all government legislation, environmental standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Providing technical solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, and initiating improvements for energy efficiency and system upgrades.
- Leading, guiding, and training junior team members, planning technician rosters, and managing the work order system.
- Building effective relationships with stakeholders and ensuring clear communication across all levels.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly qualified candidate with a robust technical background:
- Tertiary education or above in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, or Facilities Management.
- A minimum of 10 years of solid, hands-on experience in facility management, building services maintenance, or construction-engineering, preferably from an owner, landlord, or major contractor perspective.
- Must hold a valid Approved Electrical Worker license (Grade A) in Hong Kong.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, circuit diagrams, and schematics, with skilled hands-on ability in electrical apparatus evaluation, basic welding, and soldering.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be willing to work on a shift schedule, travel to different facilities, and qualify for station fire brigade duties.
