Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be at the heart of our document production operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Safely and efficiently operating advanced printing and inserting machinery according to strict procedural guidelines and specific work instructions for each product.
  • Planning daily production schedules by establishing work priorities, considering mailing deadlines, and allocating necessary human and material resources.
  • Supervising a team of operators, which includes scheduling work, monitoring progress, managing performance, and providing mentorship to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Performing routine and general maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
  • Proactively identifying production issues or delays, implementing corrective measures, and preparing detailed reports and recommendations for management.
  • Actively participating in team discussions and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing procedures and methods in line with our ISO quality certification.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following essential qualifications through their education and experience:

Education:

  • Completion of two years of secondary school, OR an acceptable combination of education, training, and or experience.

Essential Experience (DA-PRO-03 and DA-PRO-05):

  • Hands-on experience working in a production or industrial environment operating machinery.
  • Proven experience working in a structured, procedural work setting where tasks follow defined, sequential steps.

Additional Experience for Supervisory Role (DA-PRO-05):

  • Significant experience (typically equivalent to 3 years of full-time work) directly supervising a team of at least 5 employees, including scheduling, managing performance, and mentoring.

Key Competencies and Abilities:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Strong ability to plan, organize work, and set priorities to meet strict deadlines.
  • Effective oral communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work well with others.
