Key Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be a trusted support to both our residents and the Resident Care Workers (RCWs). Your compassionate assistance will be central to our daily operations, including:

  • Providing kind, respectful, and personalized assistance to residents with their daily living activities under the guidance of RCWs.
  • Conducting regular health checks, including taking and recording residents’ temperatures, to support their overall wellness.
  • Safely assisting residents with mobility, including transporting them to various areas of the residence such as the dining hall, activity rooms, or common areas.
  • Helping to create a pleasant dining experience by recording resident attendance and conducting temperature checks at meal times.
  • Observing and reporting any changes in a resident’s condition or needs to the supervising care team.
  • Contributing to a positive, safe, and homelike atmosphere for all residents.

Qualifications

The most important qualification for this role is a genuine heart for service. The ideal candidate will possess:
