Key Responsibilities
In this senior role, you will have full oversight of our maintenance function. Your key duties will include:
- Developing and implementing the comprehensive Plant Maintenance Strategy to optimize plant availability, reduce lifecycle costs, and ensure statutory compliance.
- Leading all maintenance activities, including planned preventive maintenance (PPM), condition monitoring, and swift reactive/breakdown response to minimize downtime.
- Managing, coaching, and developing the maintenance department staff, promoting skill improvement and a strong safety culture.
- Preparing and controlling the maintenance budget, providing accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
- Ensuring all Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) documentation is robust and adhered to, coordinating activities in full compliance with company and statutory safety instructions.
- Proposing and overseeing plant improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of direct, relevant working experience in maintenance management within a wastewater treatment plant, sludge treatment plant, or similar heavy industrial process environment.
- In-depth knowledge of statutory and regulatory safety and environmental requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage, coordinate, and coach a technical team effectively.
- Strong financial acumen for budget management and forecasting.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
