Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of our cleaning team, your role will be essential to maintaining our high standards. Key duties include:

• Performing general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces in bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Ensuring thorough rubbish removal and restocking of essential supplies.
• Strictly following all infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Promptly reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
• In Aged Care facilities, providing meticulous cleaning of residents’ rooms, living areas, and communal spaces with extra care and attention.
• Assisting with the transportation of cleaning equipment and stock across facilities as required.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

• A strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and takes genuine pride in their work.
• An understanding of the importance of hygiene and presentation.
• Willingness to comply with all public health mandates and specific site requirements.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
