Our business is booming with projects, and we need a skilled technician to help us deliver outstanding service to our commercial and domestic clients. You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team where your expertise is valued, and you’ll have the autonomy to run your own jobs, supported by a boss who genuinely looks after his crew.
Your Key Responsibilities
You’ll be the face of our technical service, ensuring every machine is restored to perfect working order and every customer has a great experience.
- Perform on-site and in-house repairs, servicing, and installations for a wide range of domestic and commercial espresso machines (e.g., Wega, Rancilio, La Marzocco).
- Diagnose and solve technical problems efficiently, using your mechanical mindset and hands-on experience.
- Manage your own schedule and jobs, demonstrating excellent time management and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Provide exceptional customer service, bridging technical work with a positive client experience through great communication.
- Participate in an on-call roster every 4 weeks to support our clients.
- Maintain high safety and quality standards in all work.
The Essential Skills
We need a technician who is as reliable as the machines they fix. You must have:
- A current NZ EST-ESA License (non-negotiable).
- Proven, hands-on experience servicing commercial coffee machines across multiple brands.
- A clean, full NZ Driver’s Licence and the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
- Strong physical capability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- A “can-do” attitude, honesty, trustworthiness, and immense pride in your work.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent people skills for interacting with both customers and teammates.
