Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be the well-being and development of our child, supported by household management tasks. Key duties include:

  • Providing attentive, nurturing, and engaging care for our 10-month-old daughter throughout the day.
  • Facilitating developmental activities and outings, such as swimming lessons and library playgroups.
  • Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for our daughter and occasionally for the family.
  • Overseeing and maintaining daily routines to ensure a smooth and predictable schedule.
  • Managing light household duties to maintain a clean and organised home, including children’s laundry and tidying communal areas.
  • Maintaining clear, proactive communication with both parents regarding the child’s day, milestones, and schedule coordination.

Qualifications

We are looking for a trustworthy and passionate individual who meets the following criteria:

  • Proven experience as a nanny or in a professional childcare role, with at least two verifiable references from within the last five years.
  • A patient, reliable, and genuinely nurturing personality with a passion for infant care and development.
  • A valid New Zealand driver’s licence, a clean driving record, and access to your own vehicle for child-related outings.
  • A current First Aid certificate or a willingness to obtain one promptly.
  • Availability to commence the role in mid-April.
