A professional couple in Point Chevalier, Auckland, is seeking a dedicated Nanny and Household Manager to provide loving care for their 10-month-old daughter and support with daily home management. This is a full-time position starting at 4 days per week, with the potential to increase, offering the chance to become an integral part of a family’s routine.

Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be the well-being and development of our child, supported by household management tasks. Key duties include:
- Providing attentive, nurturing, and engaging care for our 10-month-old daughter throughout the day.
- Facilitating developmental activities and outings, such as swimming lessons and library playgroups.
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for our daughter and occasionally for the family.
- Overseeing and maintaining daily routines to ensure a smooth and predictable schedule.
- Managing light household duties to maintain a clean and organised home, including children’s laundry and tidying communal areas.
- Maintaining clear, proactive communication with both parents regarding the child’s day, milestones, and schedule coordination.
Qualifications
We are looking for a trustworthy and passionate individual who meets the following criteria:
- Proven experience as a nanny or in a professional childcare role, with at least two verifiable references from within the last five years.
- A patient, reliable, and genuinely nurturing personality with a passion for infant care and development.
- A valid New Zealand driver’s licence, a clean driving record, and access to your own vehicle for child-related outings.
- A current First Aid certificate or a willingness to obtain one promptly.
- Availability to commence the role in mid-April.
Benefits and Perks

- A permanent, full-time position (initially 4 days/week, approx. 7:45 am – 5:45 pm) with the opportunity to increase to 5 days after a successful trial period.
